“Preliminary induction” refers to the process of creating a state of deep excitement and anticipation, as well as the initial phase in which the magician confirms the readiness of the subject. It’s a moment where the magician and the subject meet for the first time. This is a dramatic moment that transforms the subject from a completely innocent state into a state of excitement and anticipation. Of course, this isn’t something that should be done in a formal setting like a camera shoot.
