“BLUE” is a work created by the charismatic manga artist Yamamoto Naoki, who has produced some truly outstanding works like “Tomorrow DANCE”, “Thank You”, and “Red”. This is the third installment in this series! It tells the story of a middle-aged man who experiences a night of torment and pleasure with a woman he meets on the street. One night, he meets a woman named Asami who sells matches. She takes him to her house and asks him to sleep with her because she can’t sleep alone. Despite being oppressed by her mother and having to endure constant restraints every night, he tries to escape from her. But she refuses to let him go until he “provides her with services”. In the end, he gets to see the woman’s past and her fantasies… This work was first classified as a harmful comic by the Tokyo ordinance in 1991. It combines extreme sexual scenes with literary elements. You’re invited into Yamamoto’s world of passion and chaos.
