Fantastic sea women… Shimarihabis

In this fishing town bathed by the summer sun, Yumi, a single daughter of a fisherman, is back in Tokyo after a long time. She meets Shusuke, a young man who also moved to the town around the same time. They get to know each other through some random encounters. Shusuke stays at a guesthouse nearby and works there for a few days. From the rocky cliffs near where the sea women work, it’s common to see Shusuke throwing flowers and praying silently. The town is currently undergoing development as part of an effort to attract tourists from both east and west. Matsunoe Real Estate, one of the companies involved in this development, has started buying up land along the coast, with the intention of turning it into a major tourist destination.
