Yuriko, an interior designer, had a one-night affair with Mitsumi’s lover, Shimada. She works in a small office where she only has to deal with her boss, Shimura, and her colleague, Fuka. One night, after working all night, Fuka invited Shimura to have sex with her. Meanwhile, Yuriko became addicted to Shimada’s skills. But later, it turned out that Shimada was actually a cheat. As a result, Yuriko lost her job with Mitsumi. To distract herself from her loneliness, Fuka tried to get close to Shimura again… “Kari no En” is a film by Nakahara Toshio, whose urban sensibility shines through in this debut movie.
