Suzu, a married woman, hid from her husband, Yuki, who was on a solo assignment. She had an affair with her colleague, Tobe. But when Yuki decided to return to Tokyo, Suzu and Tobe argued with each other. In desperation, Tobe tried to commit suicide by jumping into a car with Suzu. When Yuki heard the news, he rushed to the hospital where Suzu was being treated. But Suzu was already gone. Meanwhile, Tobe’s funeral was held. Yuki met Tobe’s wife, Manami (Sasaki Mayuko), and their daughter, Aki (Sazawa Minami).
